Shaheen Rai kuriya (Split Mustard seeds) are small seeds of the mustard plants, which are used commonly in India to make curries and pickles.
- Rai Kuria can be stored in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for six months.
- Rai Kuria used as a flavour enhancer and preservative in pickles.
- It can be used to flavour curd along with coriander or parsley leaves. It can also be sprinkled while pickling or boiling vegetable such as cabbage.
